Great Woodland Adventure

After we finished hiking at Chimney Rock we had a picnic lunch and then decided to take an easy and kid friendly hike through the Great Woodland Adventure. This trail was an easy one and had lots of things for the kids to see and touch and it was a great way to end our day.



Each area had something else for the kids to try out and explore- they love that!


I know this spider is fake but I'm still not getting too close.

Chase was enjoying being a turtle and of course Randi wanted a ride.
That is one scary frog!!

Chase always like to stop and read what the different things say- he is a good tour guide.

The kids liked this stop because the faster they ran the faster the birds flew.

Watch out for the bears!!







Callan loves to draw and was amazed to see drawings on the rocks.


They sure are fun and cute!!
