Fun at the Zoo!

With family coming for Chases' birthday and baptism we decided a trip to the zoo would be lots of fun and keep the kids happy. Having grown up around the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park I wasn't too sure how the NC zoo would match up but it is actually a really great zoo and the kids love going. They have added several new things since our last visit and we had a great time. They have a kidz zone that always has different stuff for the kids to play with and this time they were able to make a house out of sticks. They also have a great playground and of course fun animals to watch- enjoy!

Looks like they could stay here for days!!

Chase, Callan, and Randi are ready to check out their house.

The kids were having so much fun building their stick house. Of course Randy and Grandpa had plenty of technical advice- I don't think they are listening guys!!

Poor Dylan! His daddy is just too crazy! He found this mask (laying on the ground) and decided to put it on- looks great bro!

Mom and Dad happy that all of these monkeys are going to be sooooo tired on the way home and should be a quite ride!

Papa, Karen, Kenny, and Dylan enjoying watching and laughing at all of the monkeys playing.

Chase and Ethan going down the slide.

Callan and Brock going down the leaf slide.

Ehtan, Chase and Callan on the spiderweb. Callan is happy to make it to the top!

Trent, Callan, and Chase are trying to make it to the top of the spiderweb.

Randi playing at the playground.

Randi decided to get a ride from her daddy- you can see she is very happy about this attraction at the zoo!!

Now there's trouble- Callan and Brock are too cute in this broken egg- don't worry it was that way when we got there!

Ethan and Randi were hiding in one of the eggs by the rhinos.

Dylan is leading the way on the Rhino Trail.

Papa and Chase are having a very serious discussion on rhinos!

Randi, Chase, Ethan, Calland, Trent, Brock and Jordan having fun with the rhino.

The boys loving climbing on everything they could find. Of course Randi is just too cute to climb on things that look dirty!!

Chase, Ethan and Callan were having fun trying out a new exhibit in the elephant helicopter. They have several tourists waiting for take off.

Trent, Jordan, Randi and Brock are ready to take off to go and find the elephants.

Callan and Jordan were having fun "riding" the elephant while Brock decided pulling on the tail was fun too!!
