Blueberries!!

After having such luck with picking strawberries we decided to try our luck with blueberries. Alicia (Randy's sister) told us about a place in Garland (about 40 mins. away) where there was a blueberry farm where you could pick for $0.30 a lb. We couldn't believe you could actually get blueberries for that cheap so we decided to plan a trip and find out. Thank goodness she was right!!!


Look at all of those blueberries!! We were worried there wouldn't be enough to pick but obviously we had no idea what we were going to find. There were acres of blueberries just waiting to be picked.

Keeley is ready to get to work! We'll see if she enjoys eating the blueberries as much as she enjoyed the strawberries.

Do those kids look ready to go to work or what? They are happy to be able to go and pick blueberries- good thing they don't think of this as work!!

Yum! Yum! All of that hard work paid off- 27lbs of blueberries!! Not bad for an hours worth of work for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were very happy when we only had to pay $8.00! What a deal!! The kids are already planning on ways of eating the blueberries.
