The Elder's Quorum decided to have a Pinewood Derby for dad's and Randy was very excited. His car is the truck above and he spent many nights working on it- this was his first ever Pinewood Derby car so it was like watching a Cub Scout get ready!
There was a lot of really neat cars and Randy knew the competition would be tough!
Chase was watching to see which car would come in first place.
They let the kids race some matchbox cars down the track and Callan found one that was a winner!
And the winner of the Pinewood Derby...... Randy Pope!! Needless to say he was thrilled and is already looking forward to helping Chase with his first pinewood derby car.

I've heard of wards doing this it sounda like a fun activity! Congrats Randy!
ReplyDeleteThe beach pictures look like fun too. We are going to Chile in Dec/Jan and it will be summer there. I'm looking forward to the beach!
